Meet Murphy. Murphy was walking with his Peep in our neighborhood and I decided to stop by and say hello. Wow, another Scottie dog sighting is so rare. Murphy came over to meet Brandy and Kenzie and they got along like old pals. Murphy lives in Long Beach, California, and is a nine year old red brindle sweet Scottie dog boy. We all fell in love with him as soon as we met him. Brandy and Kenzie hope he will come over for a play date again in the future!

Brandy is starting to accept Kenzie into his home. Wow! It’s quite an adjustment for everyone. Kenzie is doing so well, and we all love her so much!
Brandy is 9 years old today. Today, January 7, 2013 is his “Gotcha Day.” My brindle Scottie Dog who is the sweetest Scottie dog ever. Brandy brings such joy into our lives everyday! We are celebrating with delicious home made peanut butter cake, ice-cream and lots of good cheer!

Help! Calling all Scottie dog owners. And other dog owners too! Brandy broke his leash 2x running after 1) a very very small toad at night, about 1″, and 2) a rabbit. As Scottie dogs do, he darted so fast that you’d expect his peeps to go flying high, but instead he broke the leash handle and almost got away. So, today Brandy is going shopping for a brand new leash that he will sniff out and choose. In the meantime, any great suggestions? These Scottie dogs can be very quick and strong, and I don’t want Brandy getting hurt or lost! My baby! Let us know your suggestions on best leashes to buy.
